This should be in the Science topic not R&S. I'll add some R & S herein :))
I have seen many UFO's. Yes, every time my wife fries me up some food that I can not identify, that is a real UNIDENTIFIED FRIED OBJECT ! = U.F.O. Ha ha
Seriously, there are some strange lights around Marfa, TX that many science teams have not yet been able to identify. They apear most nights, one to twelve or so, different colored lights, (but no green light seen yet) that move and stop in strange, irregular motions in three dimensions.. My family and some friends, all intelligent and sober, some are science trained, all have seen them many times. One night, a hunting friend and I saw a large light go down behind a 30ft high hill near the Marfa highway. We drove off-road to see what it was. The huge orange, boiling fire on its surface like our sun, 15 ft to 20ft diameter ball of energy seemed to be 3-5 MPH, somewhat following the railroad tracks there; and also moving up and down a few feet slowly -- when it came within 50-75 ft of our pickup, we drove away fast. It lit up the ground and railroad tracks nearby so we could estimate its size pretty accurately. Strange that we felt no heat from it. It is certainly not a spirit or a living being; it is just some strange unknown physical energy. Gas balls ??
Yes, I do believe that the trillions of stars are mostly suns with planets, and many of them do have human type life. I also believe that we are NOT YET visited by them ;as we are too fearful, low IQ, warlike barbarians in their higher perspective. Most of them are probably older, more advanced planets than our young one. Would an IQ of 1500 or more want to communicate with IQs of 100 to 200? No. They have high tech communications to see and hear us at a distance; so they don't have to travel here. Yes, some energies do go faster than light. Tachyons are just one example. Einstein would admit that he was only relatively right in his relativity theories.
Everyone here should drop their foolish fear trips about "alien abductions", "star wars", "demons here", "ghosts", "good fighting equal power evil", or a "dangerous universe" !
I am given in Spirit and in Truth to know well that we all do live and perfect in a very Friendly and Fatherly universe ! I Know our Master Maker Jesus Christ !

A UFO is just when you see something in the sky and don't know what it is.
I saw a UFO once. It appeared to be made of two parts, a V-shape and a seat with a visible figure in it separated by nothing but air. When I found out what it was (a microlight aircraft) it ceased to be a UFO.

Of course I do. Unidentified Flying Objects come into our atmosphere all of the time. (smile)
When I was much younger I did see a few really weird things in the sky over Washington state which I think about to this day.
Twice I saw a very large glowing green, blue, well, every light color in our spectrum but mostly greenish ball of light moving fast but not faster than an airplane. I was six years old the first time and eleven years old the next. I know that I have seen other things too that I brought to the attention of my neighbors and they also were mystified. Yep. They couldn't be identified by any of us.

i have had a few. thought i was going crazy untill i found the number to the ufo hotline in my father's rolodex.
all that i have really seen though was a very bright light in the sky.
i live in the country (well at the time i did) and 2 times almost a year apart. i saw a light rise over the horizon at night. and it was bright enough to light up the entire valley that i lived in.
there are no industrial complexes or cities within 40 miles. and even then they are small towns and cities.
**************************
however i see a UFO every time that i look up...
is that a Boeing 747, or a C-13..don't know = unidentified...

We are so use to helicopters & Stealth jets, we even have one man jet packs which they used to show the public.
If we could go back in time 1000 years ago they would think we came from outer space, they say in every country if someone would be born under the most oppressed conditions, of living and war, seems most likely to produce a Savant, or Genious. We seem to be given more technology in the last 70 years, the govenment has new metal not on the periotic table of materal not of this earth so it gives me pause to wonder why did everything just happen in the last 70 to 100 years after thousand of years or millions of years.

It's either the American highest technology is playing tricks on Earthlings or there is indeed extraterrstrial beings flying over our earth. I never spot one, but I do believe there are some other life forms out there in this immense cosmos. Some of them have such incredibly advanced technology that they can cover trillions of miles across the universe with the sheer power of their mind, which explains also why this phenomenon is very elusive.

Remember Carl Sagen had a TV show years ago and he would say there are BILLIONS AND BILLIONS of gallaxies so in those Billions of gallexies out there, common sense wise there has to be some kind of another life form. Years ago I saw a silver disc shape way up in the sky flying behind a mountain in Vermont, and I went to tell my husband and when we looked it was gone, but I know I saw something.
