Hello Warrior Fan!!

I agree that even if you can't go for a visit, a call to the vet may be helpful. You might get lucky and get some advice, but many vets won't give much information with an exam. If your cats have been seen by the vet within the past several months, then you should be OK. But it's worth a shot anyway.

Also, it's amazing but even if a cat has been fed the same food for a long time, he or she can develop problems to it later on. Allergies and intolerances can develop over time, when there have been no problems earlier on. My only thing is that if both cats are doing it, it is probably something they are both exposed too, but it's rare that two cats will develop intolerances against a food at the same time. It could be that it's just too rich for them.

If you decide to try a different food, you'll have to switch them over very slowly to prevent further problems. Mix a small amount of the new food over a period of about two week, gradually increasing the amount of new food and decreasing the old.

In the clinic, what we tell people to do when a cat is getting sick is to withhold food for 12 hours and then begin to feed a bland diet; boiled chicken, white boiled rice, plain cottage cheese... that sort of thing. Do this for a few days and if no vomiting, then gradually mix in the new cat food.

But start with the best option; at least call your vet and see what he or she recommends. That is always the best as they know your cat's history and have the medical background to back up their answers. Only then should you move on to other options.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could just go collect some herbs from the forest like Leafpool to heal our cats? :)

My cats sometimes get sick after they eat. What I noticed is that the food is hardly even digested and they're puking it back up. I have started to feed them 2 or 3 times a day, only a little bit so that they don't eat too fast. So far, it seems to be working.

It is also possible that your cat may have hairballs. Just go to your local pet store and buy a tube of PetroMalt. This is a hairball treatment in a toothpaste tube and it comes in different flavors. Usually you give the cat about one inch of the medicine once or twice a day. Good luck and I hope your kitties get better. =)

Since it is both cats it is eith the food or they are both sick. Even if you don't have the money for a vet visit you should at least call the vet and speak to someone there about it. I called and spoke to the nurse a couple of times and both times she gave me advise on what i can do at home.

I wonder if it could have something wrong with it. I hope it has nothing to do with the recalled food. To be on the safe side you should bring your cat to the Vet.

What are you feeding them? If they are both doing it, then it may be the food. If you don't think so, then a vet trip would be my next thought. All the best;~//

If your cat throws up every time it eats, it's not getting proper nourishment. It could die if this continues. Please take the cat to a vet.
