It is not unusual to be required to complete a urine test on the day that you plead. This test is done for two reasons. First, it makes sure that you were sober when you entered your plea. Second, it provides a base level for comparison to subsequent tests. If a later test shows a higher level, you have used after the start of your probation in violation of the conditions of your probation.

They can do it at any time. The judge can order it before you are put on probation if he wants to, no usual but possible.
If it is a piss test most everything (metabolites) but cannabis is out of system, in a few days. Cannabis and PCP about a month. If you are loosing weight real old PCP can show up. Same is true for some amphetamines (ice, X etc.) depending on how they were made. Pharmaceutical is gone quick.

Why would they give you time to flush your system before testing you? A test on the day you are sentenced may actually help you in future tests. Any thing in your system at that time would, by definition have been taken BEFORE the probation. smaller amounts on following days could be argued to remain from what was already in your system.

They do not have to give you 30 seconds to flush out your system let alone 30 days. They can give you a UA right in court (I've seen it happen more than once) If they do UA you and you come up dirty you know where you're going right?

30 days..lol
why so every criminal has time to get clean before they are tested..sorry to tell ya but the policy that i know of is you are tested that first day and then randomely anywhere from every otherday to once a month depending on what "color" schedule they put you on..what schedule you are put on is determined by that first test they give ya

When you commited the crime that put you on probation to begin with, you gave up your rights to not be tested. They can test you the minute the gavel falls if they want.
