This is a very common question that parents ask. I know everyone wants to go by what the "normal age" for tooth eruption is, but that is just an average. Everybody has their own time table of development. I've been in dentistry over 20 years and I have yet to see a child that didn't develop teeth (or at least NO teeth). I know it is documented as a possible developmental malfunction, but if your child is healthy and has already shown tooth development, most likely everything will come out OK. If I had to guess you may be in for multiple eruptions very close together. Sometimes if babies are born preemie or with low birth weight, their development will be delayed. If not the case for you, then just sit back and wait...your sleepless nights are just around the corner..lol Good luck and happy teething.

I really don't think so! I have always heard the longer it is before they come in the healthier the teeth will be. How true that is I am not sure. Your best bet would be call the PEDS or you could even call a dentist office because usually they will answer your questions like this over the phone. If your infant is healthy in all aspects I would not be to concerned.

nope. My daughter did not start up getting tooth until eventually very late. she is now sixteen months and has 4 on top, 4 molars, and her backside 2 midsection ones........whilst she smiles you could purely see the backside 2 midsection ones. she is already small for her age, so people think of she is like 9 months previous........detrimental factor. issues have been given extra advantageous whilst she have been given the molars (besides the shown fact that the teething replaced right into a nightmare) with the aid of fact she makes use of them to bite and could consume surprisingly plenty something. draw close in there, the the remainder of the tooth will come......

My son was 12 months old when he sprouted his first tooth. They all came in perfectly, and they are nice and hard, too. Only a couple of cavities. I was very glad when the teeth started coming in and I could feed him something other than scrambled eggs!
