You sit there talking all judgmental about them and then blame them for your gaining weight. Take some personal responsibility and try NOT eating what they offer.

LOL. I wouldn't listen to FIND MOBY DICK, below, he/she probably weighs 200 pounds because it can't say "NO". It only can say "Give me Donut"
Crap I work in an office where this goes one, one of my co-workers yesterday brought in 2 dozen cookies--there is only 8 of us in the office and yesterday 4 of them were gone!!!! Now I love cookies as much as the next guy but I didn't have one. Why? Well, let's see I sit at a desk all day except for my lunch hour when I put on my IPod and WALK, and if I eat one cookie it will lead to 2 and so on. I bring fresh fruit and yogurt to work. I would rather go out and have a good meal and some good beer or wine on the weekend than fill up on crap at work.

It's very hard to keep away from those tempting vending machines at work! I know, trust me! Where I work, our vending machines are located in our picnic areas and our employee break lounge. I pass the break lounge everytime I go downstairs. It's horrible. But, I've learned to just look the other way, although it takes willpower and lots of it.

Depending on what's in the office snack bag, which I'm guessing is loads of sugary junk food, offer to bring in a fruit tray with lowfat yogurt for dipping, or a vege tray with ranch dressing for dipping. Bags of apples and oranges are always a hit around our office since we're always bombarded (100 staff and 75 volunteers) by workers bringing in food. But, when you have healthy options available to you, the sweets won't look so tempting.

If you prefer to not add to the office snack bag, bring your own fresh fruits and veges to snack on. You can now buy the individual serving cups of ranch dressings and peanut butter for dipping. There are also tons of great prepacked snack cups, as well as the popular 100 calorie snack packs of cookies and crackers. Try the oreos pack, they taste sooo good!
Fruit like blueberries and grapes are great fresh, but taste great frozen too. You'll end up taking your time snacking on them when they're frozen, and they taste super sweet at the same time!.

Good luck with this. You can get your point across to your coworkers without calling them out on their weight issues. Just be firm, but also remember that you don't always have to skip the junk food, once or twice a week is fine, but the rest of the time, enjoy the healthy stuff!

Also, if you want to lose the weight you gained, I suggest joining a gym, or going for walks on your lunch break. Get active.

Hehehe I know the feeling.
I've many ladies in my office that loves to cook & bring over food.
Most of them are either mothers or single ladies other thn that guys that just loves to snack.

Whenever I turned them down, coz. I can't afford to eat & draw with my mouse or use the keybord for designing & programming in my job esp. in hectic datelines; they will even try to FEED me haha..such nice ppl. Most times they will think something's wrong wth me if I turn them down. Coz. I usually take a heavy breakfast, skip lunch for drinks & go for early dinner.

What I do usually is instead of taking the same amount as them, I take smaller amount & eat them slowly. If they offer some more, I'll point there's still some @ my plate/tissue @ my table.
I always ready a big mug of tea/ green tea by my side to flush out all the grease & salty after taste. Besides that I always eat chewing gum, heheeh keep my mouth busy & simulate my brain to think.

I also try to purchase more health snacks e.g. preserved fruits, or sugarless mints or oatmeal chocolate chip cookies which are less fat, less sugar + more healthy. Yet gives a fulfilling effect to the stomach.

But main thing, I always exercise each morning by talking walks in the park on the way to work (maybe it helps because I've health problem, thus I hv. to take extra care of my body). Luckily most of my coworkers; know the importance of keeping a healthy body thus they do hit the gym or go trekking weekly.

Buy a pretty lunch bag.....the type with the frozen plastic ice cube in the bottom for keeping foods cold. Take fruits to work such as grapes, little boxes of raisins, apple slices, orange slices, etc. Veggies too.

Each time they offer you a sweet, say no and pull out a piece of delicious fruit or vegetable.

And don't forget the 100% juice drinks. So good. Have you tried the new V-Fusion drinks filled with fruits? Good and healthy. Check this out:

Once they see you doing this, maybe they will start doing the same.

Maybe tell someone there..."I have gained 3 lbs working here" and bring healthy foods for the bag. Ask someone to "walk the halls" with you during break time to stay away from the food. If no one will walk with you then you need to walk by yourself to stay away from the food if you can't resist...(I know it's hard) Find a hobby to do while on break (Like cross stitching) to keep your hands busy.
Be creative!

dont hide the fact that yu are trying to keep from eating those foods. maybe you'll make them realize that they are making themselved really fat and they'll feel GUILTY and stop. Bring your own foods, healthy foods, low in fat/calories.. but make sure it is something you like and enjoy. even bake yourself a low fat/whole grain healthy treat, to make it easier for you. one thing that helps me is to read about how bad these foods are for you.. the more i read the easier it is for me to keep ffrom eating.. cuz whats in those foods gross me out!!! also drink lots of liquids, they keep you full and the extra trips to the bathroom will help you keep extra weight off.. good lucK!

Try bringing your own healthy snack from home. Pick a fresh fruit that is one of your favorites, and eat that instead.

right here is my rundown: a million. A jumbo p.c.. of love... in some sort for ingestion which may well be of convenience. 2. A bag of convenience... self explanatory... ha,ha, ha! 3. delight. 4. action picture. 5. kick back pills... correct to the dimensions of a tic tac and in a bigger field. that would help me at artwork in many cases.

Instead of being judgmental of your co-workers, why not suggest healthier snacks for them to snack on?? You said that there's a snack bag; contribute something healthier for them and yourself to snack on.
