I went there a very very long time ago, so I cant really remember. But, my mom and my little sister are relocating over there. We live in Las Vegas and my mom wants to move somewhere nice, plus she is tired of the weather here. She has been looking around for over a year and she went to Portland Oregon with my sister last week and they both fell in love with it. They are moving at the end of this month to Salem, OR. My mom is not the kind of person to just go and move anywhere, it took her a while to look around the US and find a perfect place to live and that happened to be the place. My mom is 43 and my sister is 12, so they obviously need to live somewhere safe and with a good school district and they choose Salem, OR.

i love oregon! i've been up the coast and spent a lot of time in grants pass. it's absolutely beautiful out there. everything i've seen tells me it's a great place to raise a family but i don't know any of the particulars such as housing and schooling. you can look at the state's website for that info. good luck if you decide to go there. it's great.

I have been to oregon and i don't know if it is but what ever you do don't raise kids in the douglas county area that place has a lot to do with drugs.

Portland is a very nice small city. Good people, incredibly nice countryside. A little rainy sometimes, but I think it's great.

I've never been, but I've seen Astoria Oregon on a show and it looked beautiful, quiet and family oriented.

yes any where in oregon. portland is my favorite.
