Have to ask again as not many men replied :)
Guys, be honest, how many of you think that sleeping with prostirute is not cheating? Say, if your partner is away?

Is it true that men need sex more than women? If so, would you look for sex if your partner was away for a several months or even a year?

I am sure women would be able to stay without sex for long time, but it seems that men would not mind having sex whlist away from the partner, as THEY ARE MEN AND HAVE DIFFERENT NEEDS, they just relax in this way, there are no feelings attached, so its not Cheating to them..

I ask this question cause I have recently heard this similar thing from two guys (well educated, mid 20ties) and now I wonder, do many of you think like that?

We, women really need to know whats inside your head, so go on confess :))

Ok, let me make it clear, sleeping with anyone without feelings, just to relax etc, is it cheating for you?

Sex with anyone other than your partner is cheating.

It depends upon what kind of partner you have and how committed you are to the partner. If by 'partner' you mean a spouse, then of course its cheating...you made a promise to that person to be faithful.

If it is someone you are just dating, it is hard to say it is cheating as there is no formal proclaimation of faithfulness from which to stray. Having said that, a true gentleman would already know that such faithfulness is implied when the other started dating (which is why you can feel betrayed even when you are not married), and would know that because of this implication, it IS cheating in the eyes of the other person.

Also, prostitution is NOT illegal everywhere (ever been to Reno or Las Vegas?), in fact in many parts of the world it is very common. (I am not condoning it, I am just addressing another poster's comments).

Regarding the question of men needing sex more than women, it really depends upon the person, the age of the person, etc. as there are many factors. It has been said that men think about sex every seven second (and at times, it feels that way), it is not a fact (see source). But to be fair I have know women in my lifetime that seemed to think about sex even more than me! :-)

If you look at it from an animalistic point of view females are monogamists whereas as males are polygamists. However we are more than animals, we're humans with complex emotions and ideas. Men tend to have greater sexual desires than women but you also have to take into fact cultural and societal codes of behavior. I mean when a man has many partners during the same period of time he is considered macho and a ladies man. If a woman has many partners she is is considered loose and easy, and is labeled a **** or whore.

But to answer your original question - sleeping with a prostitute (an idiotic thing to do in my opinion) is cheating if you already have a partner. Whether they are present or away makes no difference. If the woman is not there and the guy sleeps with a prostitute and then uses the excuse that its not cheating, then he really is saying that I am not human but just an animal. An animal no different than a dog or rabbit that will fornicate with anyone just to get off.

I think that most young men given the chance and if they knew they would get away with it would be tempted to have sex with another woman, but not out of love. To a man, sex is easier to detach from love no matter how we may try to hide it. Although he would ,most probably feel guilty about it afterwards because he knows it's wrong. As a man gets older those physical urges get weaker and his thoughts aren't clouded by what's in his pants.

Sleeping with a prostitute is a form of sexual desperation ( does that make sense? ) He knows it's wrong but his main objective is to release sexual tension.
The solution? In an ideal world, more sex from his partner but that isn't always possible.

Hope this helps

Well, I dispute that women do not have as higher sex drive as men. I have been married a while and she beats me hands down. But I must say monogamp must be harder for a bloke than a women.

I dont like the word prostitue cos it brings up bad pictures of horrible women to me, but I just came back from Amsterdam where I would have no problem going with one. They are clean pretty and a good price.

They are no better than my wife, just different, and I realy believe that variety is the spice of life, but noone is better than my wife.

I think those "educated"guys you speak of were just trying to validate their own inability to control their sexual urges.( I realize they were only giving their opinion on the matter)Since it would not be cheating then these same men would not mind their girlfriends or wives getting "satisfation" if they were not available. Did anyone ever tell these "men" about masturbation? It sounds like a lot of self-serving B.S. to me. Did you need to put on your hipwaders with all that B.s. around you?If you are interested in one of these guys drop him like a hot potato.About the prostitute both the guy and his wife or girlfriend could possibly get a diease.Ew.Do you think the guy would tell his girlfriend he was with a prostitute?

It's sex, with someone other than other than your partner so it's cheating.

I would personally say yes men need sex, more than women it's a primal thing, but once I've committed to a woman, then it's just her and no one else, for however long you are apart

Most men would think it's not cheating but anyway you look at it sleeping with a prostitute is cheating.

If any Man tells you it's not cheating then just knee them in the nuts and find someone else!!!!!!
