Jehovah Witness kicked out?

ok i got my friend kick out of the Jehovah Witnesses originization because i convinced her to go to a party(and she was also hanging out with me and i'm a luthran) and she told me that she's kinda happy and is also mad and sad because now because she can't see any of her family except for her older sister who got kicked out on purpose. right now she is staying with my gf and her older sister cannot take care of her at the momment because she cannot support both herself and her sister. right now she is not talking to me. what should i do? my gf told me she murmmers in her sleeps saying she wants me dead.

Okay it is called ex communication or disfellowship and you cannot get her kicked out, she does this herself by doing things her religion says is sinful and wrong.

It's not that big a deal. I have relatives that are JW and they seem to be getting kicked out (disfellowshipped) all the time. The Witnesses will kick you out for cohabitation or even hanging with the wrong people. We know a lady who was kicked out for using snuff.

But it's only temporary. The church always takes them back after a while if they want to go back. They don't want to lose paying customers.

JW would not "kick out" someone merely for having association with someone of another faith. At most, the elders would advise her to be careful of her associations. The only reasons for what is known as disfellowshipping is gross, unrepentant sin. Might there be a little something you're leaving out?

Also there's no need to get "kicked out on purpose". An individual can simply write a letter to the congregation elders stating he or she no longer wants to be identified as one of Jehovah's Witnesses.

And please ^^ do not equate not associating with someone we care about when they are disfellowshipped with suddenly hating them. It doesn't work that way.

Unfortunately this is the standard practice for apostates that leave the Jehovah's Witnesses. Your girlfriend will have to simply resign to the fact that those who loved her before, hate her now. But try as they might, they cannot control how someone really believes. She will have to search out a new family, new friends, and probably a new life. It will be difficult, but necessary if she wants to be true to who she is. She cannot depend on her previous "family" anymore, and I think she knows that well enough by now.

Well first off, clearly she wouldn't be disfellowshipped for simply going to a party, so something in the story is missing. Secondly, you could try waiting for her to come to you. People need time to think things through.

Isn't the JW faith a loving and caring faith? Any faith that will turn its back on its OWN family members is a sad thing. These are the same people who believe Christ used to be Michael the Archangel ...before God turned him into 'a god'.
Let your friend you do care about her and that YOU will be there to lend her moral support and your friendship NO MATTER WHAT...unlike her 'loving' family who is being forced by their faith to SHUN their daughter.
