I asked her why she hadn't cut her fingernails yet - and she said that she had, but she went swimming and then they grew because of the water.

My 19 month old grandson has a gray and white stuffed "Husky" dog named "Woofy".
The next door neighbor has a puppy that very closely resembles the colors of the stuffed dog.
My grandson doesn't call his stuffed dog by name, but makes a barking sound when he wants the toy.
While we were outside this evening the neighbor came out to walk the dog. When my grandson saw the puppy he screeched, then took off running towards the puppy yelling "Woof, Woof" "Woof, Woof". The puppy just stood there and waited for my grandson to get to him.
When my grandson got to the puppy he leaned down, put his arms around the dogs neck, and said "Me Woof, me Woof!" and tried to pick up the puppy and carry him back to our house.

also she told me she had a baby in her belly!!! She is desperate for a new brother or sister and it was quite funny seeing her with a doll up her t shirt....

Didn't happen today, but this will stay with me forever! When my daughter was barely 4 and made a friend a few houses down they listened to country music on cd's. My daughter let me know that her new friend really likes that "crunchy music".
We still call it "crunchy music" and she's 10!

He was playing with a potato while I was making dinner and my 5 year old said..." look mom it's a torpatato!"..( he was pretending the potato was a tornado tearing down his lego house). It was a very cute comment! :) Your son's comment was simply precious! :) I love when they say things like that! :)
