Ok, so I was outside playing baseball with my niece on those little fisher price baseball kits, that comes with the little softball attached to string when you hit. So I go up to my 11yr old niece and say...keep your eye on the ball, and Swing! well she swung alright and the softball nailed me square in the groin! Obvisouly I fell down in pain and she started laughing and said, HOMERUN! ugh girls...y do u find it so humerous?

Every single week on America's Funniest Videos someone gets hit in the groin with a baseball. Every week for 16 seasons! It's gotten to be their no. 1 cliche!
They wouldn't keep showing these clips if they weren't funny!

If you really want to know....Laughter is a way of expressing nervousness in apes and so is smiling. Since humans are upright apes it is the same thing. It's not so much that its funny its just that when you get hit in the privates it draws attention to the fact that you have privates and then we think about the privates and that makes us nervous so we laugh about it and make jokes to ease the inner nervousness. that is the true anatomy of it. Others will say "well, because its funny" but none of them will really know why it is.

Anyone will laugh at some in pain lol, I dont know why it's so funny. lol I know I was laughed at forever by my friends when I couldnt turn on my skis and first, skiied up this hill thing and landed into a tree. lol it hurt but they found it hilarious.
I mean the Jackass movies and stuff, they do stupid stunts and get hurt, and it is slightly funny. haha. It's human nature. lol

The same reason guys think it's funny when we come out of the bathroom in a packed restaurant with our dress tucked in the back of our underwear. That hurt me ....I mean that hurts girls emotionally, the groin thingy hurts you physically.

Well, kids do cute things, but I don't think hurting another person is all that cute. I never thought that was funny on America's Funniest Videos.

I don't think its funny... I actually say ouch too, when I see that happen to guys. I just can't imagine how that feels, but I know its not a good feeling. OUCH
