i have an 87 nissan hardbody pickup and i was wondering if you can put a 240z or 260z engine in it with little modification. thanks

It should be possible ive seen 240z with a skyline R34 engine in. most engine swaps are possible if theres room in the engine bay. but you might have to modify the drive line quite a bit or beef up the motor so it can pull the trucks weight.

Not enough distance from the fire wall to the radatior. If your really good you would cut and move the engine wall backward. And that would kill off any leg room your truck did not come with anyway. The logical choice is LS-1 chevy or 5.0 liter ford.engine and transmission transplant.

Sounds like the mod from hell....Hopefully, you're NOT taking the engine from a perfectly good Z...yeesh!!
