The first few verses are concerning the communities that had gone by, the people before Islam.

If a person hears about Islam now and rejects it after he was given every chance to except, he studied it etc, then this person has no excuse others who don't know have an excuse.

So it depends if the message has reached him or not. Here these concern the ones who were true to the message of that time and place.

The Islam doesn't condemn any religion. The only thing is that the other religions went wrong and a prophet was send. First the jews and Moses(as). Then they went wrong and Jesus(as) came. Finally the christians went wrong and Muhammed(saw) came. To every prophet a book was revealed to guide the people.
Alsp In the Islam we believe that everyone who believes in the existence of God and his books will be seen as a true believer. It doesn't matter if he is Jewish, Christian or Muslim.

see, whatever you say there will always be someone to contradict. just because a few muslims are extreme in their beliefs doesn't make them all bombers. christians are just as bad.....look at mr bush.....a christian ??? i have my doubts and yet this is how other faiths know him...not good advertising is it ??? the difference is religion and politics are like gunpowder and a match.
let them get on with it.... you know your god and you have your faith, which is obviously really important to you.....spend your time in your relationship with those that matter, and ignore faceless individuals who want to use the internet for a slanging match....remember....what goes around comes around.
sorry about all those rude and silly comments which were made to you before by that mong head.

Islam, like each religions is very subjective and internally inconsistent. that's the character of religions that have been based a protracted time in the past and are continuously concern to re-interpretation of activities and scriptures. There are factors of Islam that are VERY opposed in direction of 'infidels', and those factors have been used to justify the Muslim conquests that bring about the religion transforming into so super. yet there are different factors that are between the main tolerant of the religions, exceptionally in direction of Jews and Christians whom Mohammed referred to as fellow people of the e book. certainly, Mohammed based Islam partly with the aid of fact he replaced into envious of the experience of community that Jews had as against Arabs who on the time have been warring tribes. Makes the popular hatred of Jews ironic. the actual subject is financial/civic. those persons are between the worst ruled in the worldwide, yet in assessment to undesirable governments in many the worldwide, oil gross revenues makes their tyrants almost impossible to overthrow. in case you insurrection, the state intelligence business enterprise will probabyl song down your loved ones and execute them. a touch diverse from the guidelines of engagement we had with the U. S./uk in 1776.

This is a selective and lying interpretation of the Koran - The general thrust of which is to kill Jews and Christians for the greater good of their Prophet. Muslims believe Christians are infidels. Christians believe Muhamed is the AntiChrist.
There's not a great deal of common ground there.

Who cares what that crowd condemns or not, anyway? 'Condemned by mice' shouldn't bother a cat who lives in Pittsburgh. Nor a dog who lives in Phoenix.

Maybe Islam doesn't condemn other religions, but many Muslims do. Get them to understand this and you'll find you won't have to explain it to us.

Right. "People of the Book", yes?

And what does it say about people who are not "of the Book"? Or does it mention them at all?
