Yes, I have chips, beverages, etc. sitting next to my recliner so I can watch the aftereffects on TV. ...and if you live in an earthquake area you might want to do the same so you can watch the aftereffects of the tornado that might get me.

How do you prepare for an earthquake? Unless the building you live in is earthquake resistant, the only thing you can do is go outside.

I live near a chain of volcanos that have been extinct since the last ice age.
Have had quakes here, but not for a few years - they were cause by old mine shafts.
Most areas get quakes every day, but they are so small we don't feel them.
No i don't think about them, then don't happen often here
Thats me JInxed things now --- oh well

I live on the side of a semi active volcano, if we have an earthquake we grab the steel umbrellas or run like mad.

I think nobody is. You never know how it is going o end. Luckily in my area, that´s not a problem, never happened. Neither tornados. (Thanks God!)
