I have to make a cake for a couple who are very religous.I need a website or a pic of a bible or a book.
Please help as i only have a short time to make it thanks!

I can't give you a website or a picture of a Bible or book, but I can tell you an easy way to make a cake look like a Bible. Make two layers standard sheet cake, however large you think you will need according to how many you will feed, and whatever flavor you want. Put frosting between the layers and stack one layer upon the other. Frost the two short ends and one side with lemon or vanilla frosting (yellow or white). Frost the opposite side and the top with chocolate frosting. You will also need to run a little bead of chocolate frosting along the bottom of the cake to represent the back cover of the Bible. Using the yellow or white frosting you used on the ends, pipe a crucifix on the top. You might want to add the words Holy Bible or embellish with a couple of roses. Quick and easy. If you want to present it as an open book, that too is relatively easy. You will need to contour the second layer of the cake. In the center of the top layer, carve a shallow vee shape. This will indicate the center of the book. The pages should be white frosting, the edges of the pages should be yellow to indicate gilded pages. You can pipe a favorite Bible quotation on one or both of the pages. Place real ribbon in the vee of the book, or make that from frosting, also.

it is called scripture cake i got it but do not no were it is at so when you look it up it is called (( scripture cake ))
