Firstly these 2 men are better than any man on this planet including me.

But If you compare the 2, Job's life sounds harder, he sacrifices more, goes through more pain, loses more. So how do christians thing Jesus died only to raise himself up, because of making the biggest sacrifice when it might not be?

Compare the actual lifes. Whose living life was harder? If you have money and riches and lose it, it is harder to cope, than never being rich in the first place.

So why didn't Moses pray to Jesus, if Jesus was god?

Why was Jesus name only mentioned in the bible. If Jesus was in the beginning than so should have been his name.

Job did not suffer for just 1 week in his entire life. He went through many tasks/problems/sacrifices.

So homosexuals/rapists/etc all have to say jesus is god, to go heaven?

So what was the point of wasting time writing the netire bible condemning sin. If God could have summed up his message in one sentance, worship Jesus and u go heaven. Why waste countless pages discussing the hatred god has for homosexuality/murder/lieing etc.

The hardest thing Jesus had to suffer is that God left Him. We hear Jesus call this just before he did. God is with all human beings - Christians and Atheists. He is willing to help every one of them - the problem is that a lot of us don't want to accept this help. God hasn't left any of us. Whatever bad thing we do, as soon as we cry out for help God is near us.
That was the sacrifice of Jesus, not that he was crucified, but that he was the only human being God has ever left.

First off, this is a great question! There are a few things that you must understand first before comparing the two, and then you will understand why Jesus' sacrifice is considered to be more than Job's. As you know, Job did endure a lot. He lost everything, and he suffered from serious calamities and diseases. This longsuffering went on for many years but Job kept his faith throughout most of his trial. But there are a few things that Job DIDN'T do. For one, he did not dedicate his entire life to build God's kingdom as Jesus did. Though Job was a Christian and he loved God very much, his work for God was no where near Jesus'. Also, Job was not responsible for millions of other people's souls as Jesus was. Without Jesus' blood (if you are a Christian like me and believe this) he was able to allow mankind to survive. God was ready to destroy the Earth, but he allowed his own son Jesus to give his blood in exchange for us being able to live. Job never had such a responsibility. Last but not least, Jesus did the ultimate thing for us--he died willingly so that we may have eternal life. Once again, Job suffered much, but his suffering was not as important as Jesus. If Job had decided NOT to suffer it wouldn't have impacted you and I today, but if Jesus had chose NOT to suffer then you and I wouldn't be having this conversation today. ;-) That is why Jesus' sacrifice is considered to be more than Job's.

Jesus didn't come down here to live a hard life...I would say that Job was restored to health in the end and received a substantial reward for his faith. They were two different people.
Job worshiped God...Jesus IS God. Jesus didn't suffer a lot of the things that Job did because Job never had the power Jesus had. and Jesus was closer to God than Job was in the first place. But...Jesus' objective was to die for man's sins....
Nothing is harder, or ever will be harder than that. And no one can do what Jesus did...but people like you and me everyday...can go through what Job went through.

Oh and he wasn't a prophet......(Job)

What did Job ever prophecy?

Jesus bore the weight of every sin committed, and was forsaken by the father. He perspired drops of blood in anticipation of the huge pain he was about to endure. Job had it tough, but I guarantee you he never could have endured what Jesus did.

UPDATE: Your biggest mistake on this subject is looking at this through man's eyes and completely ignoring the spiritual aspect. There are worst things than losing your money and becoming very sick, eternal separation from Christ (which you risk if you don't renounce islam) is the worst one...

Jesus died for the sins of the whole world. Job simply went through a very hard test. Before he was tested, Job was rich and had everything, and the Bible said after he was tested of God, he ended up with more than he had before. Jesus, on the other hand, was born poor and died poor and continually sacrificied his life for the good of others.

1. Job wasn't a prophet, at least not in the standard, universally accepted sense.

2. "Sacrifice" involves propitiation. In other words, a sacrifice is made as a substitution. Job didn't suffer in anyone else's place. Jesus' sacrifice was willing, and undeserved on his part. He was our substitute before the justice of God.

3. "Sacrifice" involves giving something up, willingly. By choice. Job didn't offer up anything except to glorify God even during his suffering. He didn't offer up his life, or those of his children, or those of his livestock, or his bodily health. They were taken against his will. He reacted nobly in the face of his affliction, but his affliction wasn't a "sacrifice."

Jesus, on the other hand, had heaven. He had reverence and glory. He gave those up to walk the earth for thirty-three years, loved by some, hated by many more, to be finally offered up for all. By His own choice, and by His own will. He suffered grief and loss in his life, He suffered temptation, and finally He suffered torture and death, none of which He deserved. And all of which He chose to take upon Himself, in our place. The point is not who suffered more. The point is who suffered for you and me, and did so of His own volition.

The Bible does not call Job a Prophet. Scholars aren't even sure if he existed, or if the book of Job is just a story meant for teaching.

Because Jesus was the son of God, so his life was worth more (like back in the middle ages when you kill peasants with impunity, but if you scratched the eyebrow of a prince, you would hang). But, I agree with you wholeheartedly, and believe that is the perfect contrast (as I have always questioned the legitimacy of a "sacrifice" that warrants worship of Jesus, but amounted to him escaping into Heaven and hanging out there for 2000 years. Now that is suffering).

According to scripture, when Jesus was crucified, He took all of our sins with Him...past, present, and future. By doing so, we (Christians who have confessed with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and BELIEVE in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead) will appear spotless when we appear before God.

That, I believe, is a far larger sacrifice than Job.
