They can eat fish but i suggest that if you really want to feed him it keep it to a small quantity because it is very high in oils, it does have protein but it is higher in oil, if you buy dry dog food that has the right quantity of protein and oils in it for your dog and the kind of exercising that he does and all different things, i use skinners on my dogs and they are working dogs and it is great.

Tuna has a lot of mercury in it. I'm sure it's not good for them. Other types of fish are probably okay for dogs to eat, but not Tuna or Albacore. And research protein for pit bulls before you start pumping your dog full of it. Too much protein can cause growth problems if they are still under 2 years old. Maybe even talk to a reputable breeder. Don't ask your vet because most of them don't know a thing about nutrition.

Yeah I think tuna is ok. There is actually a lot of people food you can feed your dog. There are a lot of pit bull forums out there too with a lot of educated people that know what is the best food. Also if you are looking for a really good dog food, I feed my pit Innova. All the ingredints are good sources of food like chicken, turkey, apples, sprouts, etc. No corn, and wheat and other fillers.

But can I say something else about Pit Bulls ~ Best dogs EVER if given the right love and attention! So don't let uneducated people on here get to you!

Yes dogs can eat canned fish.
I feed my Keeshond canned Mackerel about once every other week.
If you are feeding Tuna then you should research what else you need to feed so that the dog has a balanced diet.
Some dogs will have problems with fish - because they are note use to a varied diet. In those cases it can cause diarrhea.

yes they can eat tuna fish. But that would not be so good to feed a dog any human food or an other pet food unless told by vet. It will start beging and it is not healty. hope that helped

Sure, fish is a great source of protein for dogs - the oil is really good for them as well. If you feed fresh fish, be sure you get all the bones out!
