Yes you will have what is called Exodus it last from like December 20 until January 1 it All depends on the Installation on the exact dated. Be sure to save any money you have because you are responsible for you own travel expenses ie; Plane, bus and or meals

You do get a break during Christmas, oops, that politically incorrect, Winter exodus. You get a 14-21 day break from training.

Yes you will get about 2 weeks. My son was in AIT during this time and they called it winter expedous, everyone got to go home. At your own expense of course.

Yes. A break is given at Christmas through New Years.

My hubby did. That was in '96....lots of non deployed active duty units either have block leave then or half days anyway.

If they need you, no. If they don't need you yes. I would suggest you enquire with your commander asap.
