One way would be to go down to a little mom and pop groomer shop and explain to them that you really love working with animals and was wondering they would be willing to hire you as a hair sweeper/errand girl. Once there, you work hard and soak up as much info as possible and then down the road, you may be given more responsibilities and be able to handle dogs. Although, in some states you may be required to get a liscense, but experience is the key! Good luck!

The best way would be to apprentice under a groomer, the one problem with that is, most good groomers don't like doing that. That is because they know once you learn the tricks of the trade there is the fear of you going off on your own. That happens all the time. School is your best bet. There is a good school in California WAG MY TAIL. Their website is http://www.wagmytail.com They will teach enough to get a job right away. At least see if they can help you. All the best:~)

The kennels which my canines circulate to are spotlessly sparkling, that is an absolute might desire to for many canines vendors and is the 1st element they're going to examine while they arrive to circulate to easily before booking. that is yet another sturdy element, while you're open tovisits- it shows you haven't any longer something to cover. each and every canines/kin team ought to have their very own interior section plus their very own outdoors run. you additionally can choose to have an greater 'play section' which you will launch that canines/canines into. some human beings would be happy with this, yet some will ask for his or her canines to be walked. continuously save a shoppers canines on a lead. They feed the canines even nonetheless a lot or maybe nonetheless frequently the owner comes to a decision. My canines are fed as quickly as on a regular basis yet my neighbours canines is fed two times, and that they have got been the two catered for of their very own techniques. They performed music into the kennel development s that it replaced into no longer in basic terms silent. additionally, they became around the keneels a week, so as that the canines have been given a various view. no longer rotate the certainly development for sure, yet one ingredient of the development confronted the owner's abode and the different confronted fields and woodland. If the canines have been in for 2 weeks, they could have one week finding the two way. the owner and a few of his kennelhands had skills in canines coaching, animal care, vet nursing etc. that they had a vet on call 24-7 something which no longer too many places furnish is grooming. particular they might have parlours yet that is an added cost. I mean that if somebody booked in a afghan and a boxer replaced into in the subsequent kennel, the boxer probable could get 5 minutes brushing, however the afghan could get no longer a lot extra. in case you state that longhaired canines are caterd for this could charm to vendors of such breeds. Oh, and while you're open twelve months-around, cenrally heated/air conditioned kennels are an advantage. Plus risk-free practices is anothert substantial concern for a brilliant form of householders wish this facilitates and sturdy luc kwith your new company!

Most states (if not all) require a license for pet grooming. Without some sort exam/training I don't think you'll be able to find a job doing it.
