I would say this is not a top 5 quality that men search for. Times have changed to where men are more self reliant than ever before and many of them enjoy cooking themselves, therefore eliminating the need of a mate to do it for them. Surely a man would appreciate if his girl could make him a good dinner, but I can't imagine a guy breaking off a relationship because she can't cook. If the issue at hand is in fact "should you learn to cook?" I would say yes because that should be a split responsibility between you and your significant other. Some days he might cook because you are busy and vice versa. Now I gotta go whip up a box of frozen chicken nuggets because there is nobody here to cook and I'm feeling lazy. Take it easy.

Trying to get to a mans heart through his stomache is like being a mum to him. He will love it at first, but eventually take it for granted and eventually stop appreciating the food you serve up for him, then you will get crabby because he doesn't appreciate your effort. The only true way to a mans heart is through being a sexy and charming woman, and that isn't about cooking. You will find that the worse cooks are usually the ones who know how to drive a man crazy with desire and happiness, and if they serve him up mircowave pizza for afters he will think he is in hogs heaven.

I love a girl who can cook... sometimes you gotta think if you gonna marry some girl and she cant cook... what about the kids.. do you really want your kids to grow up on take-aways...? I wouldnt want that at all... as I can cook myself but ofcause I wouldnt be home half the time would expect wifey to take charge whenever she be there ... I also find it sweet to find a lady has made food just for you to eat.. no one else but you... its so much love;-)

But the quickest way to a man's heart is NOT "through his stomach" . . and some women actually think that the quickest way to man's heart is "through his ZIPPER".
LMFAO!!!! -->> but both of those are FALSE.
Whether anyone is willing to admit it . . . The quickest way to a man's heart is through his -->> EGO.
The more you interract with men, the more you have to agree that a woman who "fuels his ego" REALLY can put STEAM IN A MAN'S STRIDES.
A woman who is genuinely interested in making her man feel like a MILLION BUCKS is the kind of woman who has other women beat by a country mile. . . because every man is MORE willing to crawl through sh*T for a woman like that . . . than a woman who DOESN'T.
But alot of women actually focus on feeding and f-cking their men because they somehow believe that through the stomach and the zipper is what will work . . . when all she really needs to concentrate on is INSPIRING him to WANT to be with her. That's why you are left scratching your head as to why a guy didn't stick around long enough . . . . even though you had sex with him.
In over 2 decades of dating, loving and sharing chapters of my life, I have NEVER (and I do mean NEVER) been with a woman who can COOK.
BUT THAT'S NOT THE PROBLEM
(since I happened to be a spectacular cook . . .)
A not-too-recent EX actually burned TOAST and thought "separate the eggs" on a recipe card meant --> pushing them apart on the counter. - LOL!!!
THE PROBLEM WAS -->> THAT SHE WAS NOT INTERESTED ENOUGH IN "BEING INSPIRING" . . . and she just thought - like many - that throwing her legs up , and being drop-dead gorgeous was enough to make a man WANT to automatically commit.

It doesnt hurt to cook for ur guy from time to time .. it makes them happy
it doesnt have to be something hard .. it's just the idea of a home cooked meal ( or even cookies ) makes them smile :)
