Guys, do YOU think tattoos are hot on girls? If so, where would a tattoo look hottest? If not, how come?

Also, if you like tattoos on girls and if you can, send a pic of what the best tattoo would LOOK LIKE.

A skin illustration can be very fetching, but bear in mind, the guy is not the one who'll be getting the permanent inking. What may be hot today may be an embarassment in later years.

I know two or three girls with tattoos, from the small and modest ankle floret, to the shoulderblade rose, to the multi-placed nearly all-over, and it's not the tattoo, but the girl who makes the hotness!

You ask the question so you aren't going to get upset, right?
It's my opinion that females that get tattoos (like body-piercing) are looking for attention. And that's too bad for some. Because I've seen some very attractive ladies, young and older, that ruined their appearances.
Low cut tank-tops which show off a scorpion or a flower or whatever just screams for attention. "HEY, LOOK AT ME!"
And those monster things on their legs and thighs... god!
I have been a girl-watcher for a long time - and still think when girls wear shorts, those with beautiful legs, are so nice. And then they turn around and there is a stupid-@ss tattoo ruining the scenery.
I have as yet dated a tattooed woman... and don't plan to. As far as I'm concerned those tattoos were meant for another guy, and let's face it, why would I want to be reminded of one of her past boyfriends, or flings?
You asked for it. I'm just being honest with you.
You do what you think is right.

Yeah they look great. Good spots - low hip, foot/ lower ankle, wrist, lower back only if it's big and badass, wrapping around the hip from front to back or vice versa. Almost anywhere can be sexy if it's the right tattoo on the right person.
Don't listen to people that say tattoos are trashy, they obviously are close minded and must live in very insulated homogenous communities, who needs them anyway? Besides, repulsing them might be a good thing, anyone who would pass judgement on others for something that shallow is obviously a self righteous idiot, and turning them away before they even get a chance to know you is a good thing, you won't waste your time getting to know them before you figure out who they really are.

Yes, of course, I'm not a guy. Yes, I agree that this is something that you need to decide, whether it's hot to some random guys or not.

The only advice I have is to think long and hard before you commit. Make the tat mean something to you. I've seen beautiful tats dedicated to family members, relationships and experiences.

I, for one, have a tat symbolising my husband and I. Within the design is his and my zodiac symbols inter-twined. It means alot to me, but doesn't say a blatant "JOE."

I went for the lower back. I think it looks nice there (regardless to the tramp-stamp sayers), got it before the term popped up. It can be covered up or not whenever I like and wasn't destroyed by my two pregnancies. Anyhow, best of luck with your decision.

I like tattoos on girls - but that's just me... I can't speak for for all guys in the world.

And as far as the "best or hottest tattoo" goes... that's going to depend on the girl and her particular personality. Some designs look really good on some gals & totally clash with another's personality (so they just don't work on them). Same with the location... personally, I'm a little tired of the "tramp-stamp"

Not a guy but...if you are thinking of getting a tattoo hoping guys will find you hot, you are silly.

Why would you need validation from some guy?

If you like tattoos, then get one. Don't get one because more guys online thought they were hot than the guys who didn't.

If you're going to base your decision of whether to get a tattoo or not on the fetishes of some random Internet guys, do us all a favor and don't.

I know you said guys only, but I just thought I'd throw in that if you want a tattoo, you should get one for yourself, and not whether or not guys like it. Guys will come and go and some will like them and some won't, but chances are it won't be the 'deciding factor' on whether they find you attractive.
Also, I love tattoos on girls, and I find them attractive (I AM straight, but i still find them attractive). I like ones on shoulder blades and on hipbones, as well as along your side. I'd shy away from the lower back ones though...

By the sound of your post you're probably deciding if you should get a tattoo and where because you want guys to think you're hot. I think you should reconsider why you want this tattoo.

And if I am right and you want to get a tattoo so guys will think you're hot do NOT get it on your lower back. Ever heard of the saying 'Tramp Stamp'?

I think tattoos on girls are disgusting no matter how tastefully done , The most beautiful thing in the world in my opinion is a woman's body , God already created a beautiful canvas and the bible states that your body is a temple why ruin a perfect picture.

If you want something pretty to show your beau just get nekkid ! I am sure he (or she) already will be appreciating what they see without you marking your body up with something that will take surgery to get rid of when someday down the road you realize you made a mistake !

Case in point :

My sister while in the Air Force decided she needed a tat so she had a kitten carved into her ankle , 10 years later she began to hate it and it cost her quite a few bucks to have it removed safely !
