My oven is out and I am craving a casserole any help please?? And I have no potatoes. I do have sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, cheese, lots of noodles, bacon. I need the recipe to be for anything but the oven. Thanks

Yields: 5 servings

"Egg noodles in a sauce made from mushroom soup and processed cheese. Quick, hot and creamy."
INGREDIENTS:
1 (16 ounce) package egg
noodles
1 (10.75 ounce) can
condensed cream of
mushroom soup 1 cup cubed processed cheese
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS:
1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
2. In large saucepan over medium heat, combine mushroom soup, processed cheese, butter, milk, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Stir until cheese is melted. Stir in noodles and heat through.

Actually, I see the makings for a wonderful stove-top casserole with a bacon-y, cheese-y, mushroom sauce and noodles. Here are some thoughts:

Cook and drain egg noodles or other pasta according to directions.
Chop bacon and saute until crisp. Drain and reserve bacon grease for another use.
Mix mushroom soup with 1/2 cup sour cream (if you have it) and 2 T white wine.
Heat soup and add cheese, stirring to melt. Add bacon.
Toss with hot pasta and top with shredded cheddar and grated parmesan cheese. Cover and turn off heat. When cheese has melted, serve.

I don't see much there to work with. I could probably invent something tasty from just what you list but it would not really be a recipe.

Cook and drain some noodles.
Cook some bacon crisp and crumble it.
Melt some cheese in the undiluted mushroom soup. Add a little sour cream to thin if necessary.
Mix it all together and heat gently until hot.

1-make you some fried chicken breast cut them in strips
set aside out the pan on a dish
2-take a stove top box stuffing mix make it set aside
3-cut a onion saute it in the chicken fry grease you just had with celery 1 stalk
4- take the myushroom soup add 1/2 c water or milk -put it in the skillet
take the chicken cut up add to the soup & water mixture with 1 T butter
5- add the stove top stuffing mix with top mixture
6- lay the cheese over it if you wish cover with lid melt the cheese
make you a casserole top with almonds
