We haven't eaten them yet, my partner is just frying them off with garlic and Pernod, I was wondering do you think that they will taste good?

Oh wow, sounds fantastic. Are they really prawns and not langoustine?

What country are you in? Can't believe it's the UK, hard to get a prawn bigger than your thumb here.

Wow that sounds soooo good. Can you post a picture? And what your partner's going to do with them sounds perfect. Large prawns like that are best when prepared simply.

Are they really that big or are you just like other fisherman who spread their arms and boast - it was this big?

Pity I cannot join you, I have a fatal allergy to prawns! Enjoy. I hope you keep safe, just do not leave them too long.

If they are U.K. Nephrops(or Langoustine as Gardengirl describes them) the answer is yes! Try them also, split, filled with garlic butter and grilled. Warning-they are seriously addictive!!

Yes, just add a bit of butter and lemon juice (fresh) you'll have it made.......just DON'T OVERCOOK THE PRAWNS!!! Just till they're opaque throughout........Enjoy!!!
