You pay them or ask for an extension from the debtee. Your debts continue. If you fail to meet them, you can face military punishment for violating Article 123 of the Uniformed Code of Military Justice.

Good question. Yes you do get incoming mail while doing initial training. You are encouraged to write family, and be responsible, take care of bills. Sundays are pretty relaxed and you have plenty of time to write, call home, catch up on Laundry, etc. Talk to your creditors in advance also. Some may work with you and allow you to skip a payment. Make sure that you have a friend or a family member who can forward you your mail once you get your units mailing address. Hope this helps.

You need to try to designate someone that can help you out while you are in basic. Do you have someone you can really trust to pay things for you? A parent, perhaps? If so, you can leave either signed blank checks in their possession to pay your bills, or you can give them power of attorney to do it. I recommend ONLY doing this with someone you know that you can TRULY trust. Best of luck

you can pay your debts, have them automatically be taking out of your checking account. then you don't have to worry.
But call your debts first and tell them thier might be a delay before you get your first military check, they will work with you. the first check could be 4-8 weeks so let them know that.

you contact your creditors BEFORE you ship out and explain things to them. they will be happy to work with you, either extending, forgiving late fees or otherwise not penalizing you for not being paid right away.
