Are you serious? Or are you just looking for reactionary responses to an ignorant question? Of course you shouldn't put down a dog who makes a mess when she gets sick.

You should take the dog to a shelter and explain why you are surrendering the dog.
Then never ever get another dog.
By asking this question you are proving yourself as unworthy of the love of a dog.
Also do the rest of the world a favor and have yourself sterilized so that you do not reproduce.

That is going extreme don't you think?
Your dog can't help it when nobody is home to let her out.
Accidents do happen, if you are a responsible dog owner, you deal with it. You don't get rid of her. And if you do, you should not get another dog. What if you had a child and she threw up on your carpet? Do you get rid of her?

I wouldn't put her down, I would take a stool sample into the vet clinic and ask their opinion. She may have allergies, and therefore a sensitive stomach. She might have a virus or infection that can be treated. The vet will tell you what the best plan is.
