With this prescription do I really need real glasses or would cheap reading glasses work for me? I wasn't sure if the woman at the eye place was just trying to sell me glasses or if she really thought I needed them. She kept saying you really need glasses and she acted like she couldn't believe I hadn't been wearing any when she saw what my prescription was.
Prescription is OD +250, -75, 90, OS +250, -100, 110

You have some astigmatism which will not be in the ready made glasses, so vision will not be as good with ready made as with custom made.
A ready made +2.00 or +2.25 would work, would be better than no glasses but not as good as real glasses.

you may have noticed that you are having problems reading, this is because you need a reading prescription to see far away. Usually you have a +2.00 built into your eyes, but you already need this to see far away making your eyes work very hard to read.
You will adjust to your glasses when you get them. When you pick them up, let the Optician adjust them to your face, then put them into their case until the morning. when you wake up in the morning you should them put them on, it will make your adjustment much easier.

Maybe you should try another eye-wear place. Show them your prescription, and they will tell you what kind of glasses you need. They may also want to do another eye exam.

Well, you have an astigmatism that could use some correction. You COULD get reading glasses....+2.50 but.....eh it would be better to get prescription glasses with that rx because of the astigmatism

im no eye specialist but , you could get a second opinion. there is always contacts remember. i didnt wear glasses when i needed to and now my eyes have gotten a lot worse. wearing glasses won't cure your eyes but will just reduce the rate they get worse

you really need glasses! havent you felt that.. that is quite a strong eye number.. dont you feel the things far away are a little hazy? if you dont start using glasses (on contact lenses) your number is going to keep going up sowly!

I don't know what the +'s are but the -'s are not too bad, but you do need some glasses. I am a -3.00
