I don't like going out and looking for employment, especially when I am out of work. I just despise looking for employment. Is there a way to make it more likeable or motivational when looking for employment?

My guess is you don't have a certain career field and are just looking for a job?

Job satisfaction ranks as a bigger motivator than money or just as high in most surveys. If you are just looking for a "job" that's probably the biggest part of your problem.

Maybe short of enrolling in a tech school or college, you need to do some research on something you can do (or move into) that you might find more enjoyable. There are plenty of jobs out there that you don't have to have an education for once you have progressed with experience. The person I consult for in a Fortune 100 company has no degree... yet she's one of the most highly recruited people at her level (Dir/VP) across the United States...

Some sites to research careerjournal.com, careerbuilder.com, salary.com, www.bls.gov. Also try looking locally in your area for interesting jobs (maybe go to Craigs list)... there are so many niche jobs out there - you never know...

if you have a computer in your home you can just apply through on on-line, you can search job on job-street .com but you need to sign up to them...
