18 y.o.'s usually aren't that mature to be responsible enough to not drink to excess, and then they drive and cause a big wreck and deaths. But some 18 y.o.'s are plenty responsible. They can be in the military, vote, buy a house, execute a contract, etc. When I was 18, drinking was legal in my state, and I did dumb things. But at that age I probably would have done them even if it were illegal to drink. That's just an experimental age for many kids.

i dont think that we should lower the drinking age because it seems like the people who are the legal drinking age are often over doing it. also many people who drink do things that they shouldn't be like drinking and driving.

We should not lower the drinking age because people could get hurt with drinkin and driving!! I also don't think that you should drink in the first place!

When I was younger the drinking age was 18.
I still think it should be 18 because at age 18 you are old enough to go to war and fight for your country and you damn well deserve a beer too!

it sud be lowered to 16 years cz we are old enough to live by our selfs and r legal and r able to get a job!! if u work u sud beable to have a bit ov fun!! no matter wot the drinkin age every1 drinks anyways jst nto in clubs or owt ! lol ana i du

ok americia has the strictes drinking age and highest rate of things like duies am i only one who sees the conection we think drinks so kwl beacuse were not sopost to do it

they shouldn't because there's already too many accidents caused by teen drivers, we don't need more.
