If it makes him happy right now, and makes you happy to see him enjoying himself and experiencing new things, why would it be silly. Take pictures, show them when he is older and share your feelings about the day with him.
It may be something that he won't remember but i promise, it is something you will never forget!

Absolutely not, it's not silly at all to plan something like this for him. When you see his face light up when he gets there it will be worth the money/trip/time. He may not remember this exactly when he's older, but he'll remember having a happy childhood I think because you took the time to do things he wanted to do and make days extra special. Plus you should take tons of pictures and the memories will live on in them. He'll point to them later and say, oooh, that looked fun and you can remind him how much he loved it. I'd take my daughter for anything Dora as I see how much she ADORES Dora and goes crazy for her (she's 22mths). Even when a show starts and she starts screaming ''Dora, Dora, Boots, Backpack!'' at the top of her lungs and snuggles into her chair to watch it makes me laugh. If someplace around here did a Dora day I'd go for sure!

You'll probably have a lot of fun! If you have the cash, then go for it! He might remember it, especially if you take lots of pictures! My 3 yo remembers things from a year ago and long term memory differs for everyone (my bro's is better than mine, for instance), so he may very well remember such a big deal.

I personally don't remember anything from birth until about 4. That shouldn't stop a parent from planning fun things for their children. He'll love it & be sure to take pictures so he can look back on the event:)
*Take him if you can afford it~ but please don't fail to take him just because "he won't remember it".

sort of is ridiculous but i know how it feels to want to. if it's easy for you to do financially and whatnot, go for it but if it will cause more problems than those couple minutes of joy, skip it.
there are only young once but if you are happy, they are happy too and that will matter later not the event cause they won't remember that.
