It Perris, CA and its a about 60 miles from Los Angeles. It is rural area and extremely boring. People that live there seem miserable.

Perris is not a part of LA, it's 'way, 'way out in the boonies from LA. This is the city website: http://www.cityofperris.org/
The first thing that comes to my mind about what is Perris like: this time of year, it's HOT out there. Right now it's 97 degrees F out there.
They do have a nice railroad museum: http://www.oerm.org/ If you're a railroader, it's a must-see attraction.
Other than that, Perris is a largely rural, small-city kind of place far from LA and all LA attractions.

There's not much to do there. Some areas are kind of crummy and others are just sort of suburban. You can go to Lake Perris recreational area and there are a few museums out there for railroads and airplanes.

If you are interested in a rural area in a semi arid area of California you might find it interesting.

It is crap. Just about any place in Riverslime county is nasty. Riverside did 'earn' Meth Capital for a reason.
there is a huge outlet mall out there and Perris Lake is ok.
