I can browse with the new task option on the task mgr and see my files that way. I have no restore points availible. I do still have desktop background but thats all. I also have reinstalled windows. I can access msconfig and files that end in exe. through task mgr....task mrg show progams are running but I can not access them.

Have you adjusted your screen? Your monitor? It sounds to me like your picture for your desktop is too large. It has happened to me before, and I freaked out until I realized. On the front of your monitor are up and down buttons, a plus, and a minus. Keep hitting those, and see the desktop move around. Center it, and see if that helps. If your picture is too large the folders go up or down beyond your view. Remember that Windows doesn't ALWAYS know how big your screen is. Good Luck, Toots.

acquire and deploy any of the suited Linux OS distributions. Blows living house windows out of the water so an prolonged way as GUI tweakability is worried. And that would not even incorporate the recent Xgl 3-d laptop stuff.

thats crazy cuz it did that to me 2 days ago. u might have some type of trojan horse or virus thats infecting your pc.Waht i did was bring up the task manager,open up your system rsetore and restore it two -three days before it started to happen.that worked for me.

click new task on task manager and type in explorer.exe
