I believe in God and I wish people luck. Some Christian people go overboard with what is God-like. In our society it is fine to wish a person luck. It is a friendly thing to do.
Good luck and may God bless you.

The concept of luck conflicts with trust in God, but what the expression really means is "wish me well." It sounds kind of picayune of that person to turn it into a mini-sermon instead of just wishing you luck.

I think who ever said that to you was being sort of... legalistic. I mean, "wish me luck".. it's just a phrase, but in order to not upset your fellow christian, I suppose you can rephrase this as, "pray for me", or "keep this in your prayers". I mean some think that it has to be a bad situation to say "pray for me", but really, we are supposed to pray regardless of any situation, rather it be something you are hoping for or something you need help with. This is not my opinion, this is what I believe. Hope that helps...

The Bible says Chance happens to all men, not luck.
Luck can become demonic if you persue it enough.
Remember Lady Luck?
Evil and Wicked spirits.

Well, if it was a Christian that made that remark it was because us Christians know there is no such thing as luck. Take care and may God bless you spiritually.

I've gotten that IRL from some Christians. They tell me that believing in luck is like believing in Satan, b/c I should be thanking God for all my good fortune. To apply it to luck means denying god's power or something like that.
Everytime they tell me that, I tell them I'm the luckiest woman alive.

Beacuse when people want luck to help them, do things for them they can only wish for. Well God only wants you to look to him for hope, and help. Belive me, he will help more than "Luck" will. That also goes for Karma. But I do belive that there is a God "Karma" and "Luck" It works both ways, you can belive in "Luck" in God, and even Karma, as long as you relate it to God. Like "God is giving me 'luck' "
NOT "Its only pure luck!!!" God looks down on that.
