nothing bad about bumbag
though some countries call it a fanny pack,in Australia a fanny refers to a woman's feminine parts so we don't call it that

I think both answers above explained it quite well so I don't need to add - except that these days most people wear bumbags at the front or to the side (mainly for security reasons)

A bumbag is a bag you strap round your waist to hold all your bits and pieces when doing energetic things like skiing or dancing at raves. It rests on your bum which is why it is called a bumbag. Nothing bad about it.
