There are a lot of people "preaching" what they themselves don't practice. If you are going to give yourself over to God, follow the laws as stated in the text ( Koran, bible, etc...). Don't have one foot in and the other out. You cannot drink on Saturday night and think God will forgive you in the morning. Or sleep with every guy/girl that comes your way, yet call yourself a devout Muslim, christian, etc.... Too many people
"practice" their own forms of religion.

Not much. People are so insecure; it's not enough for them to have their beliefs; they feel they have to keep saying their religion is the best to keep from feeling inferior. If their religion (political party, country, sports team, ethnic background, etc.) is the best, then THEY are the best.
