no.. there are many verses that tell about informing about Islam.. but that if they turn away then let them go... that Allah does not like the aggressors... and that we should perform da'wa.. which is to tell people about the religion and to inform them, if they deny and not accept then we are not to continue for there would be no use...
so no, we are not obligated to work hard until we convert each Muslim.. i will get you the verse that clearly states this..
OK..:
"And leave alone those who take their religion as play and amusement, and are deceived by the life of this world. But remind (them) with it (the Quran) lest a person be given up to destruction for that which he has earned, when he will find for himself no protector or intercessor besides Allah, and even if he offers every ransom, it will not be accepted from him. Such are they who are given up to destruction because of that which they have earned. For them will be a drink of boiling water and a painful torment because they used to disbelieve."
( سورة الأنعام , Al-Anaam, Chapter #6, Verse #70)
"And so We have appointed for every Prophet enemies - Shayatin (devils) among mankind and jinns, inspiring one another with adorned speech as a delusion (or by way of deception). If your Lord had so willed, they would not have done it, so leave them alone with their fabrications."
( سورة الأنعام , Al-Anaam, Chapter #6, Verse #112)
"And so to many of the Mushrikoon (polytheists -) their (Allahs socalled) "partners" have made fair-seeming the killing of their children, in order to lead them to their own destruction and cause confusion in their religion. And if Allah had willed they would not have done so. So leave them alone with their fabrications. "
( سورة الأنعام , Al-Anaam, Chapter #6, Verse #137)
"So leave them (alone) to speak nonsense and play until they meet the Day of theirs, which they have been promised. "
( سورة الزخرف , Az-Zukhruf, Chapter #43, Verse #83)
"leave Me alone (to deal) with whom I created alone (without any means, i.e. Al-Waleed bin Al-Mugheerah Al-Makhzoomee)! "
( سورة المدثر , Al-Muddathir, Chapter #74, Verse #11)
and many many more

The best example for entire mankind, and best Muslim ever born, the Prophet of Islam cared about this matter so much that it had become his greatest concern.
That was when the Holy verse: "La Allak Bahe'on Nafsaka..." was descend to him, telling him not to suffer so much pain because the non believers do not realize the Truth.
The holy Varese also revels the fact that no matter how sincerely we wish someone to become a believer, he, or she would not become one, even if we would be killing ourselves to make our wish in that regard come true.

Jesus pbuh and all other prophets of The Old and New testament (including some which are not deemed as prophets in the old testament) are revered, respected and honored in Islam. No Muslim , therefore, can say any thing derogatory or less than respectful about prophets of the Christian and Jewish faith. Similarly all places holy to Christians and Jews are also held holy by Muslims. The Koran forbade the Prophet pbuh to say any thing against the faith of other people and by that all Muslims should desist from saying derogatory and insulting things about other religions and faiths.

Good Question. It does and it doesnt so it pretty deep. Its not our goal because the guidence comes only from God. Now 2 things are there,
1) There is no compulsion in religion, anyone who does good , does it for his own soul.
2) Deal with them with best manner and invite them to Allah with beautiful preaching.
Now the problem is, before we do anything we have to self correct. The conquest of Self or Ego as Prophet Muhammed(PBUH) asked. The biggest problem is ummah is no where, only hypocrisy remains. So before we do any preaching we have to correct the ummah and give it direction. Remember Islam is a humantarian religion. Being a Muslim means to be a servant to humanity and having no Ego. Only plans of a Muslim are the Plans of God. Now you should know that Prophet Muhammed made so many sacrifices for Islam. We have to start to organize in a similar way. But we have to love and accept every human for what they are and let Allah guide them with our Love. So our aim should be only to self correct and getting rid of our Ego. Islam wants hard workers not cheerleaders. Anyways, God Bless you!

No there is not any verse that tells us to convert every non-Muslim to Islam simply because this is a heart matter. How come at the time Allaah Almighty addresses His Messenger (may peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): "You guide not whom you like but Allaah guides Whom He wills."
Man should show such eagerness to gain such mercy of Allaah.

nonot to force any , but to call them for islam , if they converted that is great , if they don't then we have done what are ordered to do and their judge is to GOD not to us any more also i like that verse:
Invite (mankind, O Muhammad SAW) to the Way of your Lord (i.e. Islâm) with wisdom (i.e. with the Divine Inspiration and the Qur'ân) and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Path, and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided.
and that one too:
There is no compulsion in religion. Verily, the Right Path has become distinct from the wrong path. Whoever disbelieves in Tâghût[] and believes in Allâh, then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that will never break. And Allâh is All-Hearer, All-Knower.
