Talk to the financial aid advisor at your school and beware of private student loans. I am assuming you have already filled out the FAFSA and are recieving pell grants and federal loans, if not you need to fill that out and get that in. But it is usually the first thing they would have you do. I have 2 kids work minimal hours and got to school full time - I have 22 credits this semester so I know it can be done! I wish you all the luck!

Also dont listen the bs in the answers above. I have food stamps, medicaid for my kids and we live in rent assisted apartments. Just because we didnt get an education b4 having out kids doesn't mean that it is wrong now. We are obviously proving that we are productive people in society that are learning to do bigger and better things with our lives. A couple years of not making a lot and living very carefully will be rewarded in the end when we make enough to support our families without any help from anyone. The education is the most important thing. Only work if a) you have to, and b) it will still give you time with your kids. school and kids is hard enough to do. i have a very flexible work schedule that goes around kids and school and I hope you can find one too.

Maybe you should enroll in Tech school at a later date.
As a single mother of twins I had to put myself on the back burner and put my children first with getting a job to provide for my children. No matter what the job was. How can you pay for a sitter if you have no money or support from relatives.
That is what I had to face, so I decided to work and go to school later. Now my twins are 13 and I just got my MBA while still working.

Look at your state resources for assistance for child care, medical, food stamps etc. You may be able to apply for federal assistance for your education. You can get the info from your school. The FAFSA is the beginning. You can access that easily on the net. FED usually gives funds in excess of the cost of education to help with situations such as this.

you could probably get food stamps and medicaid for the twins . there are churches out there that will help you with clothes and things . You dont mention if there is a mom in the picture and if there is why is she not paying child support and helping you get the things that the children need ? you also need to work like even mc donalds cause the children need things like shoes and school supplies . You also need to pay electric bills ,water bills and phone bills . good luck and i wish you all the best .

If you were "man" enough to father a couple of kids then you should be man enough to get off your dead a** and get a job. You should have thought about getting an education before bringing this responsibility into the world.
