I don't think the caution flag should be the age difference... it should be the friendship.
Transitioning from friendship to the next level has risks and if things don't work out you could lose the friendship. Be prepared for that and go for it if you think its worth taking the shot!

If you have feelings for this guy and he has feelings for you. Well, I always say.. Age matters not if two people care about each other that much. So yes, it's ok to ask a 21 yr old out being 25.

Of Course! He's of age, and you are only 4 years apart.
Ask yourself this, would it be okay for him to ask YOU out if he were the 25 yr old and you were the 21 yr old?
Of course it would be!
The rules don't change just because you're a woman.

I'm a 20 year old male and I've gone on many dates with my 30 year old friend. It's just a matter if you two are comfortable with each other in that way. Don't do it if you are going to be paranoid if people see you two together.

I would think at 25 you would know already that you are both adults and can do whatever you want without asking anyone if it's OK!

ya it's ok! Jordin Sparks and Blake Lewis date! Jordin is 17 or 18 and Blake is 25 so it's fine! That proves that age doesn't matter!

its funny that you ask this, for a friend of mine and i were just talking about how almost every one of our single female friends are "dating" younger guys. and 25-21 is not really an age differnce.

Go for it age really doesn't matter. My daughter is 25 and she is getting married to a guy who is 22.
