Jesus was in human form and people relate better to that. God is all powerful and is there for us . The Holy spirit is with us but not seen. Use which ever you want but remember they are with you.

I suppose that it is because Jesus actually walked the Earth, and I would love to go back in time and have a word about a few things. He was obviously a nice bloke to talk to.
However, some "God" is even more difficult to get hold of.
The third part of the Trinity, the "Holy Spirit" cannot be explained by even the clergy, so probably not worth considering.
Oh I am a bloke with Christian lifestyle, but not a beleiver in mystical powers above. A Christian Scientist perhaps.

I want to know why the Roman Catholic Church, God bless, use Jesus as an icon. It was the Romans that killed him.

Jesus is the mediator; we pray to the Father through Him, under the guidance of the Holy Ghost.

We receive our answers through the power of that same Holy Ghost, and very often these prayers are answered in God's way and in His own time.

They are three distinct personages - a Godhead, yes, but NOT a three-in-one trinity, elsewise how could the Father say He was well pleased with Jesus after He was baptised by John, and at the same time have the Holy Ghost descend upon Him as a dove?

Because we have more in-common with Jesus .
The holy spirit and God' is out of mans understanding in so
much as what they look like, from mans perspective.
Christ was human like us, so we can relate to him,
That's why God, sent Jesus.

Maybe because we're human and relate to Jesus because He's lived on earth and understands our situations...The Holy Spirit is the supernatural power that operates in us, and for humans a little more difficult to relate to...does any of that make sense?

Because Jesus was sent to save us from ourselves and it only after he was murdered that the people realised, in fact, he was who he said he was at the time.

The holy spirit and god is used but in churches, furthermore it is a sin to call god name in vain.

That's a good question. I've noticed that hardly anyone uses the Holy Spirit's name in vain as a cuss word!!

Jesus gives the Holy Spirit, and He is the only Mediator between God and man.

"But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. But each in his own turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him. Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. The last enemy to be destroyed is death. For he "has put everything under his feet." Now when it says that "everything" has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ. When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all."

God is, as gods tend to be, distant and remote, unreachable. However we anthropomorphise God, he remains so. The Holy Spirit is completely incomprehensible. Jesus is the "human face" of God.

i think its because he was the physical part(person) of God. people seen him and sometimes people have to see to believe. he died for our sins...the only way to get to the father is through his son, Jesus.
