I'm hoping to pass myself off as my mate while his on holiday, before you ask he is happy with all this, though has told me to drive carefully. If stopped by police if I tell them his details, show them the paper work apart from driving licence photocard (off-course), would they do other things e.g. take a picture of me etc..

I have taken 12 DSA exams and have failed for minor reason though the reason why I'm doing it is they are off on holiday and they take me work everday as we work together.

If I get into a crash or anything happens his got insurance and I'm willing to pay the premium.

I'm an honest person and I'm a very safe driver, otherwise he wouldn't have let me.

Listen my youts, hold back on the lecture y'all ain't Shakespear yah zimme.

I asked a simple question is do the police have an resource for obtaining evidence when they stop me without out my picture licence. I know they might say bring it within the 7 day producer period. Which my mate can go and show them everything.

I'm not going to proceed with it, I'm instead going to risk it and drive without a licence and insurance only 3 points worth my £12 an hour job! Regarding the "ip address" threat I have thought about what I was posting and is not like I admited I commited a crime, I only seeked legal advice. Anyway I hope he gets my i.p and comes knocking on my door so I can send another letter to IPCC and have my free lawyers (im on benefits) collect some more divedends for me!

Most people now own camera phones. If involved in an accident, they will take pictures of the scene (and probably you) to present as evidence to the insurance company. That's just one way you could get caught out.

Also, the police will demand some form of ID on the spot.

You are not thinking of the consequenses of your proposed actions. Don't take the risk.

I have news for you. They have computer records of picture card driving licences, available to the police at the push of a button.

I have advice for you. If you drive like a moron, which sounds likely if you're even contemplating doing this, you could cause damage, physical injury or death to you, your passengers and innocent bystanders. If you were lucky enough to survive that, you'd go to prison. Sodomy, unless you're relaxed and ready for it and use plenty of lubrication, hurts like hell (and trust me, the guys inside won't be asking if you mind or if you're ready), and you'll be someone's tart within days. Your mate will also be locked up for being so stupid as to lend you his identity, and will likely be cheering as you're defiled, as he will probably be next. Kiss goodbye to any idea of a career or job, and welcome with open arms the prospect of the dole and all it's delights.

Finally, pray you're strong enough to deal with the guilt and shame, and the persecution if you do hurt or kill someone else, and make absolutely sure it's not me or anyone I know.

So you must either, have lost your licence or not have one. In either case this is illegal and you could go to jail and your friend could have his licence taken away also. As others have said it does not have to be your fault if an accident occurs but you will be in trouble what ever happens either driving while banned or without a licence.

This is really not advisable! The police will take your picture and possibly your fingerprints and match them to your friends. If they come back different they will obviously detain you and prosecute you to the full extent of the law. Not to mention they will prosecute your friend for willingly and knowledgeably give you permission to use his information for a fraudlent act. Hope this helps you.

Well I hope you get caught and go to prison with your mate to keep you company. You and your friend are absolute PRATS.

You claim you are an honest person, that is a lie in itself. Grow up .

You are both idiots. You are putting your mate at extreme risk if you are involved in a collision, not to mention the fact that you are impersonating him, with or without his knowledge.

Unbelievable!!

Your entire question basically says, "I would like advice on how to commit a fraudulent, criminal act".

Then, on the last line you say "...I'm an honest person...". What world are you living in, 'cos it's not the real one?
