my idea of the perfect date would be a casual dinner, maybe semi dressed up, not too loud of a restaurant. then a stroll by a downtown outside shops or a waterfront, like a beach or public place, so you can get to know the person, see their interests and begin to appreciate what they like to do. that way you can also get to know them in conversation, and is also a romantic setting.
maybe a movie for some cuddling afterwards or a goodnight kiss and ride home. not too much though, beginning of the relationship is most exciting! getting to know the person!

Seriously though, probably taking in a social event together, like a festival or play. Then a romantic walk through the park after would be nice. Then head to either one of our places to enjoy a movie to ourselves & enjoy eachothers company.....maybe until the next morning.....

Something that is low key and relaxing - where you can have a good conversation and just enjoy the company of the other person. My regular life is hectic, so I like the unwind time with the person I love.

Somewhere lots and lots of fun. Like an amusement park, clutching each other on the biggest rollercoaster, or laughing at our cowardice on the little teacup rides. :) Something fun, but meaningful too.
