There is a Drinking Law chart shows that all states ban for selling alcohol to people under 21, but the consume of alcohol is a different rule.
For New Jersey, it is "Under 21 may consume alcohol in parents’ or guardian’s residence if parent or guardian is home."

you can not buy alcohol products...
I don't think it has to do with consumption...(??)

not legally, but i always found a way....
And Jersey is not a dry state...you may find a couple of dry counties but i promise you the whole state is not dry....
