My cat has been laying in my bed for 2 days now and only comes out to eat and go to the bathroom. This is not like her, shes normally running up and down the hall playing with the dog. I used to feed her can cat food but i stopped for a month and a half. We'll i started feeding her can food again this week. Do you think it's just upsetting her stomach, should i continue feeding it to her. Im getting worried about her.

She's an indoor cat and i got her fixed about 4-5 months ago. Its possible she could of gotten into something while im at work but i havend seen anything indicating she got into something.

my cat is almost 8 and she has a really sensitive tummy. i only feed her dry food or she will get sluggish and throw up alot. try giving her the dry food again but offer her a little of both. if she continues to act strange or if she stops eating altogether, don't hesitate to bring her to the vet.

Take her to the vet, this may be a food problem but you can never be sure.

I had a cat when I was a kid that had kidney problems, something she had from birth, but we didn't know it and she did the same thing. We had to put her on special food. She didn't live but about 1 year after that, but it was a good year for all involved.

Cats don't get sick too often, better to be over protective.

You didn't say if she's an outside cat, or how old she is. Maybe she's in heat....or, could she be pregnant? Has she gained weight lately? Could she have gotten into something (poison, string, yarn, cleaner, etc)? If she's eating, drinking and using her litterbox, without any noticeable problems, she could just be feeling under the weather, like some of us do, from time to time. But, if she's NOT eating, she should see the vet. Good luck.

Take her to the vet and give them all her symptoms. Chances are, she might have a tummy bug of some kind but change in appetite/attitude are symptoms to all different kinds of problems ranging from food issues to something more serious.

Changing her food could have upset her stomach, I would stick with one or the other and not change it anymore. Give her a few days and she should be back to normal.

Has she been seeing any male cats? Hows her poop? Check this and see what you find. If there is anything else wrong try the vet....
