in an adjacent building in my complex, there are 3 neglected cats. there is the mother and her two kittens. all cats are kept outside only, have no collars, are invested horribly with fleas, and are rarely feed by the owner. the mother and the girl kitty are not spayed. the mother should be going into heat again and will no doubt get pregnant. then the kitten will be going into heat in about 2-4 months and will also become pregnant. i asked my landlords if i could have cats and they said no. i have found out about spaying but for both cats it would be over a hundred dollars i don't have and i know the neighbors won't spend. i can't take the cats either because the neighbors know i want them so if they go missing they'll know i took them. i just want what is best for the cats. what do i do?

1.) Most importantly talk to your neighbor & ask about the cats to see if they even belong to the neighbor...
2.)Call your local animal control... they have a couple of different options. They can loan you (usually with a $60 deposit returnable upon cage returnal) a live trap. Then you can either have animal control pick them up to care for & spay/neuter...
3.)Or you can call a local feral rescue group who spays/neuters & then returns them to the wild. you find one by going to Petfinder.com

i come across it thrilling what proportion anybody is telling you which you're able to tell the neighbor to strategies her very own business enterprise. whilst somebody posts right here, "My neighbor's cat is merely too skinny, we predict of that's being ignored," anybody chimes in to advise calling animal administration or the humane society, or to take the cat away. it fairly is definitely a great thought to get the cat to the vet for a verify-up, with the aid of fact there could desire to be metabolic themes which includes hyperthyroidism or diabetes, or dental discomfort, or a sort of different themes inflicting weightloss on your cat. a number of those issues are particularly treatable, and offering that therapy could desire to enhance this elderly cat's existence even further. And not less than you would be waiting to tell your neighbor some thing very polite, which includes "thank you lots on your subject, however the vet suggested she is a superbly healthful 19 365 days previous cat," even however what you're able to desire to fairly advise is "blow it out your ear, you previous busy physique". you realize, score some sort factors for treating your elders graciously.

Well..call the local animal control or shelter. Once the kitties are taken you can adopt one of them from there, plus they will take care of the spaying or neutering and shots already for you :)
