This is not a genetically linked cancer.

My Grandfather passed the gene to my mother who passed it to all my siblings, male and female.

I have both brothers and sisters who have passed it on.

However, this is not the biggest risk factor in Breast Cancer.

4 of 6 siblings have had cancer, 2 of them breast cancer, yet only one has had the genetically linked form of breast cancer.

ok, it isn't that simple. there are probably a multitude of genes that are factors in causing breast cancer. they can be from either parent.

either the mother or the father.. it depends upon the family health history of your parents....
