Do guys only consider a girl pretty or sexy if she has a nice body?

It seems like only the model-type girls get all of the attention from the boys who are good looking or not good looking.

I am not good looking, but I think that I am friendly and intelligent. I am also kind of quiet. How come no guy seems to care?

it all depend on who the guy is and what turns him on about a girl cos while some guys admire the facial beauty of a girl, some the body shape,height,exposure,sense of humour, personality,character and so on but the best a girl should know is to love and appreciate who she is and the right guy for her will surely pick her up

Girl im not close to looking like a model and Im what guys call thick and I get plenty more attention than a girl who looks like a model, its all in the man's preference, not in the stereo type the media wants you to believe. If you feel confedient and act confedient, it will show believe me. Have the atittude that you are the best looking girl on earth and people will see your confedience and that is what will make you stand out but if you act insecure or self conscience, people notice that too. If you need to, go out buy a couple new outfits, get your hair done, your nails done, do something that makes you feel pretty and trust me, it will cause alot of attention.

Sexy is an ATTITUDE.

Pretty is ... smiling when you walk, engaging people in conversation and really listening to what they say, complimenting someone on how they look, clothes, hair etc, showing that you are confident that you are a good person and have every right to be as happy as the next person, being a friend that everybody would like to have, having an intelligent conversation, laughing out loud at someones joke, volunteering at something, in short....PARTICIPATING FULLY in LIFE and enjoying it.

Sexy is..... smiling when you walk, really looking into people's eyes, smiling with your eyes !, for gawds sake, use what your Momma gave you !, wiggle when you walk sometimes, moving into someones "personal space" on purpose, ( you'll know when you have crossed their aura by the way they react, if they pull back or cross their arms they are defensive and you are not welcome, if they stay put or move closer or talk a lot you are welcome ), putting your hand softly on someones arm as you move past, or lean over or talk with them, playing with your hair, looking at someones lips just a little beyond what is "normal"...beware, they may try and kiss you ! , squeezing past someone in a tight space a little bit slower than necessary, or even if you could have gone around, understand that ALL human beings are sexual creatures and that it's OKAY to be sexual.

I'm a guy, and here's what I look for in a girl:

1. A pretty face (75% of first impression, 10% of overall)
2. A nice a** (15% of first impression, 10% of overall)
3. Nice rest of body (5% of first impression, 5% of overall)
4. A great personality (5% of first impression, 75% of overall)

Notice there are two categories: first impression (short run) and overall (long run).

Obviously, this is just an approximation I came up with. Personality includes: non-smoker, doesn’t use drugs, caring, honest, fun-loving, intelligent, and down-to-earth

No they dont.... the thing is most guys only meet a girl cause she looks good or one of her friends does.....they see a girl that looks good and then are like oooo id like to get to know her better.....the thing is the girl that is less w.e u wanna call it usually is the better girl...im open for any girl lol

o and seriously a girl with a pretty face is better then a girl with a hot body

Of course a girl can be pretty if she doesn't have a nice body. I like women of all shapes and sizes. To be honest, the fat girls I have been with have been much better in bed than the skinny ones.

Most of the guys like girls who has -

- little beauty and better dressing sense
- she can talk freely and confidently with all types man/woman
- she has good figure - face, arms, breast, legs, flat stomach and good shape butts. You can improve some thing by joining Gym with good diets for 4 - 6 months. Tone up your body and remove excess fat and get it tanned.
- read bit of literature going into library books, or online like yahoo question/answers.
- keep track of worldly news, events, music, film, sports etc
- keep good hygenic habbit and no smell from mouth (listerin strips / or tablet in mouth for freshness)
- good taste of perfume and wear good looking suiting shoes
- wear the color of clothes which most suit you and show up your curves by properly fitting it. Not excessive tight.
- wear good underwear and bra from popular brand (like victoria's secret and others)
- learn to develop self confidence and self esteem.
- talk with respect and listen to other person with interest.

I hope you should be able not only attract guys but make good friends and keep them as you wish.

NO. Everybody has a type. I knew a guy named Al in high school who hated model-type bodies and had a girlfriend who wasn't fat, but had her share of curves. Real men like the hourglass and the full figures. Gay men like women with stick bodies that look like, um, theirs. Guys' bodies are straight and boxy. Men like real women's bodies.
