You have a few choices. The first option, which is the quickest, is to put the Memory Card into a card reader, right click on your music files and select "Send To" followed by the letter that is associated to that removable media. Alternatively, Right Click on "My Computer", select "Explore" and then click on the letter for the Removable Media (SD Card). Now you can click and drag your files. To get the files from CD to the SD Card, open Microsoft Media Player and Rip the Audio Files to the Card. You can also send audio to your mobile phone, if the card is inside it. You can do it via USB Lead, the same way, select your file, Right Click and "Send To". You can also send the file via Bluetooth in the same way. Select the Audio File, Right Click and "Send To" followed by "via Bluetooth"

The easiest and cheapest way is to insert the card into the device (you didn't mention if this was a MP3 player, cell phone, ...) and use the cable and software provided to download the information.
Alternatively, if you don't have a SD slot on your computer, you can purchase a SD card reader from Best Buy or Newegg.com and hook it into your USB port. The computer will treat it as a storage device and you can copy/move files over. It's fairly cheap. Here's a link to Newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Description=SD+card+reader
There are a lot of different ones on the market and some will also read CompactFlash cards.
Hope this helps!

Best place to look for memory cards, card readers, batteries and battery chargers is ebay. There are lots of internet vendors who ship directly from Hong Kong or Taiwan, or even somewhere local, but the cost is only a fraction of what you'd pay in a store. So check out ebay. As for whether it is the right thing for you or not, you can always email the seller and ask. There's an option called "ask the seller" in ebay.
