...to people who have read your holy texts and know that the culture that is ingrained within the religion, is just as much a part of the actual religion as the beliefs and rituals you do to "worship" god. I am mainly talking about Islam, and people who keep saying, "educate yourselves about Islam!" and "Stop talking bad about Islam because it's a religion of piece!" (mispelling intended)

Okay, maybe we didn't read the same koran, but the one I read was all about killing infidels, beating women, acquiring sex slaves and war booty, and spreading the word of Islam.

Then, I see plenty of Muslims trying to use a Vulcan mind bend on ignorant Kufar to bully them into seeing Islam "their" way, if not to convert them, then at least to appeal to their Liberal side and assimilate another apologetic for the Ummah's cause. Brilliant!

But, just for crap's sake, do you all ever get tired of the lies and the taqqiyah it takes to spin Islam into a benign faith, that is all about peace?

Yes I do get tired of stating that I am serious about my faith and yet I am not into religion. I get tired of it but I keep on stating it because faith in Christ has nothing to do with ritual any longer. It is merely faith in Christ and studying Gods word without ritualistic behavior, or trinkets or traditions and reciting prayer like a stepford wife. I believe in God, and that Jesus died on the cross for our sins, and I believe that we are all believer priests who believe that and study and walk in faith and Christ-like or like minded folks. But not too tired since I just did it again LOL

That is because you have already made up your mind.

There are many things in the bible that people do not take literally. The Koran is the same way. Yes, their are some disturbing things in there, but that does not mean that the religion as a whole is bad.

Christianity has killed more people then can be counted. He who casts the first stone...

not as much as I get sick of explaining to uninformed morons that the only way to really learn martial arts "self-defence" and fighting is to actually spar and train with progressive resistance.

religion is just a subject for debate and everyone can believe what they want because it doesn't matter at the end of the day, just like if you believe that john mclaine would explode the death star (he would).

However, if someone is training improperly, at a mcdojo or a "pajama party" (dress up) then they could get hurt if they get into a fight. and those that have not tested themselves are more likely to than not becasue they want to prove themselves to themself. Which will result in them getting hurt.

Christianity wants everybody to be christians. Islam wants everybody to be muslims.

But, this fight will go on. It's been going on since the Crusade wars.

All religions are based on someones idea of euphoria. There isn't one that makes more sense then the other. It just seems that way.
