This is more of a statement rather than a question. I have been a Christian throughout my entire life, nothing pisses me off more than people making fun of my religion. The reason why people make fun of our religion is because of people who claim they are "Christians" yet they do everything a Christian was taught not to do. I'm speaking about the people who do unjust things or do wrong to others and other things that I cannot say all within 556 characters of letters left.

Now, there are also people who claim they are Christians who think that everything that they cannot explain has a simple answer to it. God. Now that just arouses a shitload of bullshit upon us Christians, we think that everything we cannot explain only has one answer, God. That makes us look very unintellectual and possibly makes others avoid or make fun of our church.

I hope I helped a bit by helping you differentiate between the real Christians and the ones who only claim they are.

Who doesn't need praying..

If you still have some questions, post them up on the comment section and I will gladly answer them, I'm not saying I will always have an answer, but I'm pretty sure I can answer most of them.

Your point is well-presented and well-taken.

Please understand that there are plenty of people who differentiate between those combative types who wear their zealotry as a compensation for other life validations, and those who aspire to a faith-filled life. We recognize those of Christian faith and do not equate them with those of Christian affectation.

As an Atheist, I have encountered many times the type of Christian you have depicted, but please understand that faith is not something I will try to extract from one's conversation, certainly not if the conversation be nothing more than a rant. I appreciate the well-spoken individuals who present their faith and have the confidence to not require that there be an acquiescence to the assumed superiority of a person's morals because of said faith.

I thank you for an excellent presentation and wish to reassure you: we know the difference between the faithful and the stereotypes, and you, good sir, are certainly no stereotype.

Hey, I appreciate your question. I am a Christian and feel the same way that you do.
What irritates me is that SOME people group us all together. They assume we are ALL hypocrites because they know some who are like that. They assume we are ALL like the Crusaders. They think we are all murderers and bigots.
Nothing could be farther from the truth.

I do not judge all atheists on the basis of poor behavior by some of them. Atheists are so into logic and Science that I would assume they would see that such sweeping assumptions are illogical.

confident, darling, and it makes me snicker derisively...fairly as quickly as I see the nitwit who tells different people who they're no longer Christian then have the nerve to teach around and communicate approximately how Jesus or god loves certainly everyone and Christianity is for each man or woman, and that's the religion of affection. I could desire to assert that Ross accused the atheists right here on R&S of having a matching approach, and there is in simple terms the teensiest little bit of reality to that - we do argue over agnostic vs. gnostic atheism, or vulnerable vs. stable atheism slightly - yet i've got on no account seen yet another atheist tell people who their non-concept in gods isn't genuine adequate because of the fact that is no longer comparable to theirs, nor to tell them that they are mendacity. So, no longer the comparable element in any respect. (((seals)))

There are many cult lists on the internet that are highly inaccurate. If someone is a Christian they are on Jesus's side. They don't need to be called cultists by all of these cult lists posted around the internet.
