you need to do full body exercises to lose belly fat...just remember that you can't spot reduce no matter how many abs exercises you do.

I've been using some awesome full body workouts for about 4 months now that I found at

They've really been kicking my butt and working me hard. I've lost about 32 lbs of fat in the last few months and feeling a lot better now. Sometimes I use bodyweight workouts and work out at home, and other times I go to the gym for a little more intense workouts. Good luck!

When we want to get rid of body fat, there is no way to specifically burn fat from one part of the body. Doing situps won't burn the fat that is covering your abs and doing tricep extensions won't get rid of the fat that is covering your triceps. The only thing you can do is lose weight all around and eventually the problem area will also improve. The way to burn fat is through a calorie restricted diet in conjunction with an exercise routine that will burn calories. Activities that burn calories include running, biking, swimming and other high intensity activities.

we cant make the body lose fat in areas we want to. fat comes off generally everywhere it wants, fat cells are 'full' and when you lose weight, they start emptying out, but the actual cell will always be on you (unless you surgically take them out, in the case on lipo). Harder to lose weight if you have a larger # of fat 'cells'. And when the cell is at it's maximum 'fullness' more fat cells are created, which means more to fill up and make you fatter.
