Not all beliefs are bad. But God does not approve of them if they come from false religion or are against Bible teachings.---
Matt 15:6 he must not honor his father at all. And SO YOU have made the word of God invalid because of YOUR tradition.

(I included the Scripture for those who may not have a Bible readily available...handy.)

So the Q is....
"What are some beliefs & customs that displease God, YHWH."
The Creator of heaven & earth.
The God of Abraham, Moses & Jacob.

Customs and beliefs that displease God

Holidays, such as Christmas and Easter that are based on false religion. Those observing them cannot be worshipping God with "spirit and truth." John 4:23, 24

Hellfire. Why would a God torment people forever in a fiery hell if he is a God of love? 1 John 4:8

Immortality of the human soul. That goes contrary to Ez. 18:4, 20, where it says that "the soul that is sinning, it itself will die.

Trinity. Instead of God being composed of 3 co-equal persons, Jesus singled out his Father as the only true God. John 17:3

All good people go to heaven. That goes against Ps. 37:29: "The righteous themselves will possess the earth,
And they will reside forever upon it."

Calling one's religious leaders titles like "father." At Matt. 23:9, Jesus told his followers NOT to do that.

Praying to Mary or the saints. At Matt. 6:9, Jesus told his disciples to pray to the Father only.

Jer 10:2 Thus saith Yahweh, Learn not the way of the heathen (gentiles), and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen (gentiles) are dismayed at them.

Jer 10:3 For the customs of the people [are] vain: for [one] cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.

Jer 10:4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.

Jer 10:5 They [are] upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also [is it] in them to do righteous.

Jer 10:6 ¶ Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O Yahweh; thou art great, and thy name is great in might.

1Cr 10:20 But I [say], that the things which the Gentiles (heathen) sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons, and not to Yahweh: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with demons.

1Cr 10:21 Ye cannot drink the cup of Yahweh, and the cup of demonls: ye cannot be partakers of Yahweh's table, and of the table of demons.

p.s.
His name is Yahweh, the Father of Abraham, Issac & Yaqoob.

Believing in false prophets. So Christianty and Islam are bad. (According to the Jews and the Muslims or Christians respectivly.)

Not beliving in the Messiah. So Judeism and Islam are bad. (According to the Christians.)

Since god refused to properly smite the false prophets and messiahs (they can't all be right) it is impossible to tell which one to pick to stop god getting displeased at you.

If your parents and pastor had not told you better it might look like there was not god there at all!

Only God can speak for himself. I would not want to dictate what he wants or does not want. The bible says to be kind to others, do not judge, and to let God handle things like this.
