What kind of god would hold you accountable for statements made under duress? There are many more important things to worry about in life than whether or not you will have to deny Jesus. The gun to the head is a good example of some of the things this society has to worry about. To turn your phrase, during the crusades, the tables were turned when the Christians were told to accept Jesus or die I am sure many of the accepted under duress. Read up on what Christians do to people like Jan Hus and Martin Luther or Galileo Galilei. You don't owe anyone an answer when you have a gun to your head. You just tell them to get out of your face. At least you know that is the right answer.

I guess I would have to die
Now, before you go there, if someone put a gun to my child's head and said deny Jesus Christ or your child dies, my decision would be a whole lot harder to make, and Jesus knows that because I've told Him that

Okay I have 2 options I use Jujitsu to disarm the guy and lead him to Jesus or I let him give me a free pass to Heaven...I will not deny my Lord and Savior for I already died 13 October 1969. Nevertheless I live yet not I but Christ that lives in me.

I would not deny Jesus.....Peter did that 3 times, and lived to regret it. It happened to one of the students at Calinbine and she would NOT deny Jesus, and she died for it. When the anti-christ comes ....we will ALL have to make a choice.......receive the mark of the Beast in you head or hand.....or die. This will be our day to answer that statement...Deny Jesus Christ or die...........as for me and mine....we will worship the Lord and choose life..........we choose Jesus Christ.

Is the gun loaded?
And where are these people you're sure have to make this decision? Are Christians being murdered somewhere?
Regardless, I'd deny Jesus because I don't believe in his divinity in the first place.
I like puppies.

I would have no problem denying christ in order to live. Were the question reversed, I would have no problem affirming christ to live, either, because I have no problem lying to a person who has a gun to my head.

Die. I think the more difficult question is whether I am willing to give up my life for Jesus Christ. Am I willing to love and serve others? Am I willing to learn and do as He has?

I would deny, deny, deny. I fully believe in the Christ consciousness, but if given the choice to speak words or receive a gunshot wound to the head, it's a no brainer (no pun intended).
Saying something is certainly not an indicator that you believe it.

This is too easy. Jesus is not that bad. I'd accept. It's not like they put a gun to my head and asked me to accept Islam. Then in that case, I'd know my brains would be about to redecorate something.
